Asymptotics of Classical and LOCC Conversions and Its Application to LOCC Cloning

We consider optimal approximate conversion between entangled pure states in quantum systems when only local operations and classical communications (LOCC) are allowed. In particular, as a part of LOCC conversion, we treat LOCC cloning besides entanglement dilution and entanglement concentration, and derive optimal LOCC conversion rates under independent and identical distributed settings in the framework of second-order asymptotics. To derive the optimal LOCC conversion rates under an accuracy constraint, we first consider two kinds of approximate conversions, deterministic conversion and majorization conversion, for probability distributions. Then we derive their asymptotically optimal accuracy of conversions for independent and identical distributions on finite sets and apply it to quantum settings.
